In Blairsville, GA there are 3 descendants of Gilbert Belnap living in the LDS branch. They are Walter Belnap Kerr great grandson of Gilbert thru Hyrum Belnap and Marion Belnap Kerr, Sheryl Belnap Prilhart great great granddaughter of Gilbert thru Amasa, David Belnap, and Evan Duane
Belnap, and our Elder Hanson great great great grandson of Gilbert thru Francis Marion Belnap, George Belnap, LeGrande Belnap, Shawna Belnap Hanson.
I am amazed at the enormous contribution that the Belnap Family Organization does for Gilbert’s posterity. I especially enjoyed Ashley Belnap’s presentation on Gilbert. This presentation gave us more clarity of what his journey was before he became a member of the LDS Church. Thanks to all who helped put this reunion together. Hal and Maxine Belnap
