Reunions

For 120 years, descendants of Gilbert Belnap and his wives Adaline Knight and Henrietta McBride have gathered at least 47 times to renew family ties and honor their great heritage.  Reunions have been held in various locations in Utah and Idaho, commencing with the first reunion in October 1904, five years after Gilbert Belnap’s passing.  At least 13 reunions have been held in Hooper, which served as Gilbert’s residence for the last 30 years of his life.  Today, reunions are generally scheduled every two years in even-numbered years, usually on the second Saturday in August.
