The John McBride Belnap Memorial Program was produced in connection with the Belnap Family Organization’s placement of a monument in Ashland, Saunders, Nebraska, in April 1997 during the Sesquicentennial Celebration of the Mormon Pioneer Trail, in honor of John McBride Belnap, baby son of Utah Pioneers Gilbert Belnap and Adaline Knight, who died of cholera in June 1850 during the family’s trek across the plains to Utah.
