2022 Guide
The Belnap Family Guide to Weber County, Utah, 2022, was prepared by Belnap Family Organization officer Brent J. Belnap in preparation for the 2022 Belnap Family Reunion that featured a group bus tour of key sites in central Ogden, Utah. The Guide presents information on 134 sites in Weber County of historical interest to descendants of Utah Pioneer Gilbert Belnap, who arrived in Weber County in 1850, and his wives Adaline Knight and Henrietta McBride. The 2022 edition of the Guide presents a significant update to the original 1992 version. The 87-page publication, which includes maps identifying the location of each site, is currently available in PDF format only. A limited number of hardcopies have been placed with libraries in Utah, including the Family History Library in Salt Lake City, Weber County Library, and Weber State University. The first Belnap Family Guide to Weber County, Utah, 1992, was prepared by the Tour Committee of the 1992 Gilbert Belnap Family Reunion. A paper booklet with a blue cover, the Guide identified 77 sites in Weber County deemed to be of historic interest to descendants of Utah pioneer Gilbert Belnap.
