Looking for information about Frank Drayton Belknap, my great grandfather.
Dear Liza: Thank you for your inquiry (and apologies for the slow reply). The Belnap Family Organization has information on Frank Drayton Belknap and his nine children in its files, although most information on his family should also be available online on the “public trees” portion of Ancestry.com. Please let us know exactly what information you are looking for, and we’ll be happy to dig deeper. Also, very glad to hear that you are also a direct descendant of Jesse Belnap and Eunice Hall. Note that we are considering memorializing/restoring their headstones. We are looking for updated genealogical and contact information on the descendants of Jesse/Eunice through branches other than through their son Rosel who was the father of Gilbert Belnap (1821-1899) from whom most members of the BFO descend. We are “broadly ecumenical” when it comes to identifying, sharing information with, and collaborating with other Belknap/Belnap descendants, going back as far as the first Richard Beltoft from Sawbridgeworth, Hertfordshire, England. Please correspond directly with the BFO at belnapfamily.org@gmail.com. Looking forwarding to hearing again from you!
